San Diego, CA -- RADGUARD, a provider of internetworking security solutions, recently completed a secured Virtual Private Network (VPN) for the Soda Club Group, a provider of home carbonation systems. The project uses the Internet to connect Soda Club's United Kingdom, Netherlands, South Africa, United States and Israel offices into a full-service and secured intranet environment. The VPN, based on RADGUARD's hardware-based CryptoWall, is a joint venture between RADGUARD, Soda Club, Bynet and Ornet Computers. Through the secured environment created by the CryptoWall, Soda Club can now link its international offices via the Internet into a secured data communications network without the high-costs involved in traditional leased-line networking. Soda Club employees can now share files, send email messages, browse the Web, manage inventory, order products, and plan corporate strategy, all in real time and from any of their international offices. The entire network is managed from one central office (with the option for hierarchical or regional management), and new offices can be added to the network without any network alteration. In addition, travelling Soda Club representatives can access the network from anywhere in the world, with the assistance of RADGUARD's unique HTML-driven remote authentication system. "We chose RADGUARD's CryptoSystem for the simple reason that it outperformed the competition," noted Uri David, IT Manager of Soda Club Ltd. "We needed a system that could provide us with a secured, cost-effective and easy-to-use way of linking our international offices into one network. The CryptoSystem gave us that ability, and we look forward to taking advantage of the many opportunities it presents."
