As a software technology company, balancing protection of intellectual property (IP) with the need to share enough technical detail for third party validation is of the highest priority for Massively Parallel Technologies (MPT). Ultimately, the real proof is delivered in working customer solutions and patented technology.
As MPT moves towards its first production offering and showcase solutions, the company continues to share key details of its HOWARD technology with strategic partners and customers under the strictest of non-disclosure agreements. Third-party evaluators and peer reviewers have also been brought in at the direction of potential investors, and MPT is in the process of publishing a series of technical research papers detailing its technology. Due to publication process restrictions, however, such papers cannot be shared with the general community until time of official publication*.
MPT is also making itself available to the HPC community by presenting and publishing at industry conferences such as ClusterWorld and SC|05. MPT has over five patents pending in the United States and abroad, that include over 100 claims. MPT has received its first patent, #6857004, covering its core technology, the HOWARD Cascade, and the Virtual Power Center concept. As future patents are issued to MPT, patent numbers will be shared with the community and supporting technical papers will be published.
