State Accuses Intel in an Antitrust Suit

New York attorney general charges chip maker with violating antitrust laws.

New York’s attorney general Andrew Cuomo has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Intel, the world’s largest chip maker.  The accusation is that Intel has used large rebates and co-marketing arrangements to talk Dell and other manufacturers into sticking with its products rather than increasing their business with AMD.
