SAN DIEGO, July 19 -- Tabor Research Inc., a research group focused on providing independent market research and consulting advisory services for the High Productivity Computing (HPC) industry, today announced it is forming a User Views Advisory Council of influential members from the worldwide HPC community. The Advisory Panel will be comprised of users large and small, across all vertical markets in academia, government, and industry, worldwide.
"Our goal is to provide actionable market intelligence with a focus on the needs of the end user," said Addison Snell, vice president and general manager of Tabor Research. "With the User Views Advisory Council, we're taking another step in formalizing that focus by engaging users who want to have their opinions heard."
Tabor Research will concentrate on maintaining a mix of users on the Advisory Council that is representative of the market as a whole by selecting members from a distribution of vertical markets, geographies, and budget sizes. Users with HPC spending influence across all demographics will be invited to join the group of leaders based on their willingness to participate in forward-looking research studies.
"The Advisory Council extends our reach into entry-level and mid-range users, which form a large percentage of the market but have not always been adequately reflected in their views and needs," said Snell. "We want to capture both traditional and non-traditional use of HPC."
