SANTA FE, NM, June 4 -- Flow Science, Inc. announced today the formation of Flow Science Deutschland GmbH to be a further extension of its distribution channel. The new company is being formed in partnership with key personnel from its former distributor, CFD Consultants GmbH. Flow Science Deutschland will represent FLOW-3D products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, providing sales and support of the software as well as generalized CFD consulting services.
Frieder Semler, who will be the managing director of the new company, has worked with Flow Science and FLOW-3D since CFD Consultants first began representing them in 1999. Mr. Semler will be joined by Dr. Ing. Matthias Todte, a renowned expert for casting simulations and CFD Consultants member since 2006 and Rolf Krack, perhaps the most experienced user in the area of high pressure die casting working with FLOW-3D since 1996.
“We are excited to step up our presence and relationship in Germany, which has been the engine of growth in Europe. The formation of Flow Science Deutschland marks another important milestone in the growth of both Flow Science and FLOW-3D,” said Thomas Jensen, president of Flow Science.
"The formation of this joint venture is a logical consequence of the productive – and very pleasant – cooperation between the parties involved and will further improve the services to our customers and the reception of their wishes," said Frieder Semler, managing director of Flow Science Deutschland.
Flow Science Deutschland has taken over responsibility for serving all FLOW-3D customers formerly served by CFD Consultants, and will continue to provide them the same high-quality support to which they have been accustomed.
