DALLAS, Sept. 14 — Nimbix, a leader in accelerated high performance cloud computing, and HUGEdata, a leader in enterprise big data analytics, have announced a partnership to deliver converged big data and high performance infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.
The rapid explosion of enterprise data has continued to add strain on in-house IT systems and their ability to handle growing workloads. At the same time, query and computation times are getting longer which severely impact productivity. To provide a comprehensive and scalable solution to this challenge the HUGEdata and Nimbix partnership brings the power and simplicity of HUGEdata’s massively parallel processing technology for high speed database analytics together with the Nimbix Accelerated Compute Cloud for highly parallel and accelerated computation. As part of the partnership, Nimbix will manage HUGEdata server infrastructure in its Dallas-based high performance computing facility and the two organizations will collaborate to deliver integrated cloud processing workflows, marrying traditional relational data storage, SQL queries and analytics with computational statistics for increasingly large datasets.
Enterprises benefit from the accelerated workflow, high availability, computational scale, and low cost of ownership afforded by a cloud-based service offering. Existing queries and data structures are maintained while performance increases dramatically. The net result is a big boost in productivity.
