Oct. 6 — As part of an ANSYS cloud partner webinar series, Potsdam High Performance Computing (HPC) On Demand specialist CPU 24/7 will offer insight into the opportunities of using HPC, especially for Computational Aided Engineering (CAE) applications.
This event will take place on October 27 at 9 pm (CET) and October 29 at 2 pm (CET). For one hour, Christian Unger, an experienced project manager of CPU 24/7, will describe how to securely connect to remote HPC resources in the CPU 24/7 cloud in order to more directly monitor or manage running CAE simulations with ANSYS solutions. In his presentation, “Accessing CPU 24/7 HPC cloud for advanced numerical simulations with ANSYS,” he will answer the most important issues regarding “High Performance Computing as a service” in engineering:
Access
- How are CPU 24/7’s compute resources accessed and applications started?
- Is it possible to monitor a running simulation or to even analyse calculation results in the cloud?
Data transfer
- How can data be transferred, both efficiently and securely?
Performance
- What performance and scalability can be expected when running CAE simulations with ANSYS on CPU 24/7’s HPC cloud infrastructure?
Data Security
- Where is your data located and what security measures are being taken at CPU 24/7?
Service & Support
- What about pricing models, consulting and customising on the CPU 24/7 cloud?
