EVO: RAIL from VMware combines compute, memory, storage & networking into a hyper-converged infrastructure appliance to create a simple, easy to deploy, all-in-one solution allowing administrators to go from initial power-up to virtual machine creation in minutes via their user interface, traditionally these steps would take hours if not days.
The solution, is configured with the EVO: RAIL software stack and delivers all of the necessary components for a Software Defined Data Center in a single, modular, scalable and easy to service enclosure.
