SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 13 — The HPC Advisory Council, a leading organization for high-performance computing research, outreach and education, today announced that the HPC Advisory Council, in association with the CHPC National Meeting, will hold the HPC Advisory Council South Africa High-Performance Computing Conference 2014 on December 3, 2014 at the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The conference is open to all registered attendees of the CHPC National Meeting, and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates. The Conference will focus on the following subjects:
- High-performance computing and storage systems
- High-speed networks
- High-performance and parallel I/O
- Communication libraries: MPI, SHMEM, PGAS
- Advanced topics / technologies / development / the road to Exascale

- New HPC initiatives and programs
