Newest Version of SysFera-DS Released

PARIS, France, July 1 – SysFera has introduced a new version of its SysFera-DS software that simplifies management of hybrid high performance computing (HPC) environments. The more lightweight architecture of this latest version, SysFera-DS v4.5, can be fully installed without downtime and ready for production in less than two hours. SysFera-DS v4.5 enables administrators to continue to provide best quality of service without maintenance interruptions, ensuring maximum customer productivity and access to applications at all times.

Thanks to a reworked application management interface, SysFera-DS v4.5 implements the ability for project and application managers to clone, modify, and reuse existing applications—a capability that streamlines launch of simulations. Productivity is further increased by a greatly improved user experience that enables users to complete computations more efficiently and maximize their usage of computing and graphical resources with best-of-breed GPU support for even cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services. Direct access to online, web-based help and tutorials guides users through all steps of the process and eliminates the need for heavy documentation and user guides.

With SysFera-DS v4.5, administrators can concentrate on the maintenance of their HPC systems and the service provided to end-users rather than spending time on installation and monitoring of the HPC applications. This frees up resources to build and improve computing systems as needed. Application managers can now provide easier, more simplified access to applications. The new slick graphical interface provides more intuitive access to HPC applications, and thanks to improved responsiveness, users can remotely access applications without requesting assistance from system administrators.
