April 27 — XSEDE16 showcases the discoveries, innovations, challenges and achievements of those who use and support XSEDE resources and services, as well as other digital resources and services throughout the world.
XSEDE is providing limited funding to undergraduate and graduate students to support student travel, lodging and registration costs. At the conference, you will:
- Build your computational skills by attending tutorials and participating in a modeling challenge — no experience required
- Hear from inspirational keynote speakers and students that have participated in XSEDE student programs
- Visit industry exhibits and network with potential employers
- Present a research poster or technical paper
- Visit the visualization gallery with guided tours
- Attend presentations on ground-breaking research
Participation from traditionally under-represented communities including women, minorities, and people with disabilities is strongly encouraged.

- April 29, 2016 – Paper submission deadline
- May 2, 2016 – BoF and Poster submission deadline
- May 2, 2016 – Conference registration opens
- May 2, 2016 – Modeling Day registration opens
