WATERLOO, Ontario, April 30 -- RapidMind Inc. has been awarded the coveted Start Up Company with the Best Innovation award as part of the 2007 Premier's Catalyst Awards that help build a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Ontario by recognizing excellence and leadership in innovation. Right on schedule, Intel has launched its Xeon 5600 processors, codenamed "Westmere EP." The 5600 represents the 32nm sequel to the Xeon 5500 (Nehalem EP) for dual-socket servers.
