Local presence in Taiwan expands selling efforts
BOULDER, Colo., July 1 -- Tech-X Corporation of Boulder, Colo., announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Intelligent Data Miner, Inc. (IDM) to represent its products. This arrangement will provide better local support for customers in the Taiwan.
In order to provide a direct presence to better sell and support products in key geographic markets, Tech-X is expanding its international selling efforts by recruiting distributors. Intelligent Data Miner, Inc. is the most recent organization joining a growing list of these resellers / distributors.
"We look for organizations that have a successful record of supporting highly technical users of high-performance computing, complex simulations, and technical data analysis," said Ed Kase, vice president of marketing and business development at Tech-X. Right on schedule, Intel has launched its Xeon 5600 processors, codenamed "Westmere EP." The 5600 represents the 32nm sequel to the Xeon 5500 (Nehalem EP) for dual-socket servers.
