dezineforce to Exhibit Appliance Technology at SC09

dezineforce appliance offers rich decision-support environment, HPC cluster management and advanced search and optimisation tools to aid decision-making with data-intensive computation

Nov. 16 -- dezineforce, a provider of advanced simulation optimisation and decision support tools, will be exhibiting at SC09, the exhibition and conference devoted to high performance computing. The event will be held in Portland, Ore., from Nov. 14-20, 2009. dezineforce will be exhibiting with Dell on booth 1535 and will use SC09 to showcase the innovative appliance version of its design search and optimisation and decision support suite.

Earlier this year dezineforce partnered with Microsoft and Dell to make its cutting-edge design search and optimisation and decision support suite available as a plug-and-play appliance to give engineering companies an alternative mode of access to the unique capabilities of the dezineforce solution. The dezineforce appliance allows easy on-site deployment of its advanced graphical user environment for simulation tools currently in production in the dezineforce On-Demand service, integrated on a Microsoft and Dell high-performance computing (HPC) cluster.

dezineforce CEO George Shanks comments: "dezineforce has perfected its offering working with the engineering design community and with Microsoft and Dell. We are now rolling out the technology to other HPC markets. The challenges facing innovators in engineering are not unique. Many areas of science and technology need more flexible and easier to use platforms to execute and gain improved insight from their computational simulations. SC09 is an opportunity to reach a wide range of technical computing professionals and demonstrate how the ready-to-use dezineforce appliance eases the establishment and use of in-house simulation capabilities tailored to the needs of projects, departments and businesses."

About dezineforce

dezineforce is a software and SaaS services company. It has developed a specialised platform for running complex third party simulation programs used by technical professionals in high-tech market sectors including biosciences, computer aided engineering, electronic design and geosciences. Available as an on-demand SaaS service and an "out of the box" appliance, the dezineforce platform offers advanced graphical workflow, data visualisation tools, HPC cluster management and advanced search and optimisation tools to aid decision-making with data-intensive computation.

The on-demand service and appliance offer a powerful combination of availability, speed and ease-of use. Because it is delivered over the Internet, the on-demand SaaS service can be accessed from anywhere in the world, by whomever the subscribing company chooses, facilitating collaboration between teams in different locations. Inbuilt flexibility of use enables immediate and essentially infinite availability to grow capacity in response to demand. The platform's capabilities to manage data-intensive computation are the result of pioneering work led by acknowledged leaders in high-performance computing, including Simon Cox, director of the Microsoft Institute for High Performance Computing at the University of Southampton, and Andy Keane, director of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre for Computational Engineering at the University of Southampton, England.
