Borrill, co-lead of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s Computational Cosmology Center, who is one of the investigators for the Planck telescope project, a joint ESA-NASA mission to get detailed information on cosmic microwave background.

Here is a recent write-up of Julian’s work. He was a post-doc for George Smoot, whose work in this area won him the Nobel Prize in 2006.
