InterSect360 Research

If you’re an HPC vendor, you know Addison. If you don’t know him, you’ll soon be hearing more from him. Addison has been in the business for quite some time, first with SGI, then as an analyst with the server group at IDC. For the past two years, Addison was GM for our sister organization, Tabor Research, and in July he acquired all the assets of the division, relaunching it as InterSect360 Research. When Addison speaks, people listen!

Addison Snell is the CEO of InterSect360 Research, a market intelligence and consulting organization focused on the HPC ecosystem. InterSect360 Research was formerly Tabor Research, a division of Tabor Communications, the publishers of HPCwire; in July 2009, Snell took the research business independent in a cash buyout.

InterSect360 Research leverages its relationships with the HPC community to integrate supplier and user data into forward-looking, actionable market intelligence, including comprehensive research studies in topics of interest to the HPC community, as well as client-specific services, such as perception surveys, white papers, and go-to-market consulting advisory services.

Snell, a 12-year HPC industry veteran, previously was an HPC industry analyst for IDC, where he was well-known among HPC industry stakeholders. Prior to IDC, he gained recognition as a marketing leader and spokesperson for SGI’s supercomputing products and strategy. Snell is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
