July 9 — XSEDE14 kicks off in Atlanta on July 13 and will include high-quality presentations in four technical tracks, tutorials, a visualization showcase, birds-of-a-feather talks, posters, lightning talks, various sponsor activities, a day-long workshop on reproducibility, a job fair and a variety of opportunities for student involvement.
In addition, the conference will feature an array of corporate and non-profit partners like Intel, Internet2 and Dell. A total of 19 sponsors have committed their time and resources to ensure a dynamic and informative XSEDE14 Conference. Thanks to the investment from these partners, XSEDE is able to offer a collaborative atmosphere for hundreds of attendees, students and the rest of the HPC community. Specifically, Intel, the conference’s lone “Platinum level” partner, is the sponsor of an opening dessert reception while Internet2 is backing the MondayTutorial sessions via their “Platinum level” non-profit partnership. Dell is a “Gold level” sponsor and has maintained a relationship with the conference since XSEDE12.
XSEDE14 will take place in Atlanta from July 13-18, 2014 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and will showcase the discoveries, innovations, challenges and achievements of those who utilize and support XSEDE resources and services, as well as other digital resources and services throughout the world. The theme of XSEDE14 is “Engaging Communities,” to engage both traditional users of digital resources and people who have not traditionally used digital resources but would benefit from their usage.
XSEDE14 registration, hotel and Atlanta-area updates, sponsorship information and more can all be found at xsede.org/xsede14.
