Houston, TEXAS — Continuing its ProLiant Clusters for SCO UnixWare 7 high availability initiatives, Compaq Computer Corporation announced it has expanded its ProLiant Clusters for SCO UnixWare 7 cluster solutions offerings to address the Small Medium Business (SMB) and distributed and branch office environments. Two node, Ethernet based SCO UnixWare clusters are now available and include support for the ProLiant CL380 packaged cluster and for clusters consisting of low-cost ProLiant ML330 servers.
Ethernet based clusters using the ProLiant CL380 and the ProLiant ML330 deliver simple and fast cluster installations using the Cluster Quick Install images, enabling customers to achieve full cluster installation in less than an hour. Customers running ProLiant Clusters for SCO UnixWare 7 benefit from the simplified, low-cost, high performance solutions that provide them with the tools they need to build, manage, and grow a successful Internet infrastructure.
