For some time now I have known about Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Center for Computational Nanotechnology Innovations (CCNI). This is where RPI houses their supercomputer, which is one of the top 15 university based, and #52 in general. I knew that complex simulations and models of various systems (biological, electronic, etc) were done at CCNI, but my trip there Friday allowed me to finally get answers to many of my questions.
