If there’s anyone who feels that cloud computing is the next wave for all of us (enterprise and mainstream users alike) it’s certainly Google. The giants has released its new software developer kit called Native Client SDK, which includes most of what developers need to begin writing apps right away. It will be one of the main points of focus at the I/O Conference next week and new updates are scheduled regularly over the coming months. According to reports, “Native Client (NaCl) lets programmaers write in a variety of languages, and a special complier converts their work into the NaCl modules.” It’s hard to say what this will mean for large-scale enterprise but it does appear that we Google could poise an exploding point for developers, which will even further democratize computing for the rest of us.
