SC21 has introduced the SC21 HUBB for remote participants and attendees of the conference. SC21 will support both in-person attendees at the America’s Center in St. Louis and remote attendees through the SC21 HUBB.
Users who log onto the SC21 HUBB will have access to the following features:
- Update profiles
- View session information and content
- Participate in Q&A during sessions
- Create and view a schedule of sessions to attend
- Browse the speaker directory
- Interact with fellow attendees
- Visit the exhibitors and view the exhibitor schedule
- Use the SC21 HUBB Mobile App
Additional features are included, such as Students@SC programming. According to SC21, there will be “speed mentoring, resume/cv critique, mock interviews, surviving in the workplace, system administration for non-sysadmins, HPC software skills, HPC futures, and more,” as well as a Student Cluster Competition. There is also a tab on the SC21 HUBB for Inclusivity at SC21, which highlights sessions geared towards inclusivity and includes a Discord chat for attendees with shared interests.

Logging into the SC21 HUBB
- The SC21 HUBB site goes live on Nov. 12, 2021
- You will receive an email from [email protected] that invites you to the SC21 HUBB (once it goes live)
- You must click the link provided in that email to for access as it is unique to you and your registration
- The link will prompt you to create a password for future access to the site
- Note that you cannot reset your password on the site until you have created it for the first time – please use the link provided in the email, or if you cannot locate the email send a request to the virtualSC21 email link above to have it resent
Most content is provided in the SC21 HUBB
- Over 350 sessions spanning all program areas:
- Nearly all technical content and events
- 40 exhibitors
- Remote participation is supported through four different session types:
- Live-Stream Sessions: Content recorded by AV technicians at the convention center and sent to remote participants in real time; remote presenters supported via zoom
- Interactive Sessions: Content shared with remote participants via zoom sessions; projected in the convention center
- Online-Only Sessions: Content shared with remote participants via zoom sessions; no session support at the convention center
- In-Person Only Sessions: Content for in-person attendees only; remote presenters supported by zoom
SC21 HUBB is also a mobile app
- First, click the link in the SC21 HUBB invite email and create your account
- You can then access the site from your mobile device at: https://sc21.hubb.me
- The site will automatically give you instructions for how to install the app.
- The mobile site and features are the same as the desktop site, just optimized for smaller screens.
SCinet and PIER Group provide wireless access to SC21
SCinet and PIER Group are bringing wireless architecture to the conference. Whether attendees are in-person in St. Louis or online, they will be able to interact with various conference elements.
