The ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge, the world’s largest supercomputing hackathon, serves to inspire the next generation of HPC scientists and engineers to deliver innovative solutions. Closely following cutting-edge technologies, ASC has attracted a growing number of new talent to supercomputing and has greatly promoted communications in the HPC community. The ASC17 features the world’s fastest supercomputer as a platform and a Gordon Bell Prize finalist as an application. A total of 230 teams around the world have registered to compete.
