Smoky Mountains Computational Sciences and Engineering Conference
August 25, 2020 - August 27, 2020
The Smoky Mountain Conference (SMC2020) is the premier computational science and engineering conference of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), to be held August 25-27 in Kingsport, Tennessee.
The theme of SMC2020 is “Driving future science and engineering discoveries through the integration of experiment, big data, and modeling and simulation.” The conference will focus on the following track areas: 1) convergence of high performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) in applications, 2) system software for data life cycle and infrastructure, 3) use cases for observational data and edge computing, 4) deploying computation: on the road to a converged HPC+AI ecosystem, and, 5) scientific data challenges. We will be accepting submissions on for papers in these track areas. Please access the following, for more information about the call for papers: https://smc.ornl.gov/call-for-papers/ .
