Dec. 3, 2020 — The 14th annual Oil & Gas High Performance Computing Conference, offered by Rice University’s Ken Kennedy Institute, will meet virtually on March 5, 2021. The call for participation is now open; submissions are due January 15, 2021. Registration for the event will be free and opens January 5, 2021.
The Ken Kennedy Institute at Rice University invites interested parties to submit an abstract in consideration for giving a talk in the technical program on March 5, 2021.
Accepted abstracts will be asked to record a 10-15 minute presentation as part of the conference program. All recorded abstract presentations will be reviewed by the committee prior to final approval into the conference. For the virtual conference, recorded presentations will be published in the conference portal and website. Speakers will be able to answer attendee’s questions through the chat feature in the conference portal.
Prospective speakers are invited to submit abstracts that highlight technology, use-cases, and solutions that support data-driven discovery and decision making.

In addition to regular conference abstracts, the organizers also encourage students and post docs to participate in the Poster Session to present research that is relevant to the industry.
