Datanami Reveals Winners of Inaugural Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards

September 19, 2016

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Sept. 19 — Datanami, the leading publication for news and information covering the operationalization of data science in business, government, and industry today announced the winners of its first annual Datanami Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards in advance of the Strata + Hadoop World conference taking place next week in New York, NY.

“We are very excited to release our inaugural awards recognizing the consensus leaders in the Big Data arena as determined by our audience and editors,” said Alex Woodie, Managing Editor of Datanami. “We’ve been following the developments of Big Data since our site launch in 2011, and well before that through our flagship sister publication, HPCwire, and are proud to take the opportunity to recognize the pace setters in an industry that continues to mature and evolve. Congratulations to our inaugural winners!”

To be selected for a Datanami Readers’ Choice Award not only reflects the impact that business and technology leaders are having in the Big Data & data science communities, but also signifies recognition from the influencers and industry watchers of the Big Data space.
