Elastifile Wins 2017 Tech Trailblazers Award for Top HPC Solution

February 12, 2018

SANTA CLARA, Calif.Feb. 12, 2018 — Elastifile, an enterprise hybrid cloud data management company, was named the winner of the inaugural High Performance Computing category of the 2017 Tech Trailblazer Awards, the first independent and dedicated awards program for enterprise information technology startups.  Winners were selected via public voting after having been named a finalist by a panel of leading IT industry experts.

Tech Trailblazers is a new concept in awards, designed explicitly for smaller businesses and startups under six years old or less and at C-series funding or below. The awards aim to recognize both established and up-and-coming startups in categories such as HPC, Big Data, cloud, networking, security, storage, virtualization and others.

Elastifile was recognized as a Tech Trailblazer for its unique ability to enable dynamic, real-world hybrid cloud workflows by integrating on-premises and cloud environments within a unified, high-performance storage and data management platform. By leveraging the Elastifile Cloud File System with CloudConnect dynamic object tiering, enterprises can now manage both active and inactive data via cost-effective infrastructure that scales dynamically with the needs of their applications. Whether deployed in hybrid, cloud-only, or multi-cloud environments Elastifile’s cross-cloud data fabric delivers agility for enterprises across a range of markets – including life sciences, manufacturing, oil & gas, and media & entertainment – enabling them to scale elastically, increase performance, and reduce cost.  It is the ideal foundation for hybrid cloud infrastructure modernization and digital transformation.

“We are extremely pleased to have been recognized with a Tech Trailblazers Award for technological innovation, based in large part by feedback by our enterprise customers and their users,” said Sebastiano Tevarotto, President and General Manager at Elastifile.  “Being selected as the HPC solution is truly a vote of confidence from the very people we are empowering with the ability to take charge of their data.”
