After a two-year in-person absence, the three centres comprising the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS) will return to the SC22 conference, taking place Nov. 13-18 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, USA. The conference brings together high-performance computing (HPC) experts from around the globe for a week of presentations, discussions, exhibitions, and more.
Representatives from the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), and the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) will be taking an active role in the conference. Below, you will find a brief overview of each centre’s participation.
The High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) at SC22
HLRS will be at booth #1226. Among other activities, the centre is participating in a European HPC Ecosystem “Birds of a Feather” session and the research poster session.
The Jülich Supercomputing Centre at SC22
JSC will be at booth #1027. As the upcoming European exascale hosting site and operator of the D-Wave Quantum Annealer, JSC’s highlights can best be summarized as, “Towards Exascale and Quantum Computing – from the very largest to the very smallest”.
The Leibniz Supercomputing Centre at SC22
LRZ will be at booth #1035. After being named as the hosting site for the European Union’s largest quantum computing investment to-date, LRZ staff will be actively participating in workshops and discussions regarding the integration of traditional HPC and quantum computing, as well as energy efficiency and benchmarking. In addition, LRZ will be at booth #4754 for the SC22 job fair on Wednesday.
