Nov. 17, 2023 — Join HiPEAC and the Horizon Europe research and innovation project GraphMassivizer for a webinar on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 14:00-15:30 CET. This webinar will cover high-performance, sustainable graph processing of extreme data.
Registration is available on the Graph-Massiziver webinar page.
Graph analytics are a key plank in modern computer science and web analytics, powering applications from page ranking to biological network analysis. However, current graph-processing platforms suffer from a number of issues, including the inability to support diverse workloads, a lack of portability, and inefficient use of resources.
This webinar will present how Graph-Massivizer, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program, is boosting the impact of extreme and sustainable graph processing in order to mitigate urgent societal challenges.
Featuring presentations by HiPEAC member and Graph-Massivizer coordinator Radu Prodan (Klagenfurt University), along with Reza Farahani (also Klagenfurt University) and Martin Molan (University of Bologna), this webinar is a must for anyone working in the field of data processing.
What Can You Expect
- A general overview of graph processing: why it is important and challenges.
- An introduction to the Graph-Massivizer project (approach, expected results, timeline), going deeper into some specific works that could be of interest to the HIPEAC community, such as graph-processing over the computing continuum and sustainability aspects.
- Details of one of the Graph-Massivizer use cases, which implements the concept of a green datacenter digital twin. Discussions of the benefits of Graph-Massivizer based on work carried out in the other pilots (financial, automotive and foresight for environment protection).
