HPC Advisory Council Announces 1st Annual Brazil Conference

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 2 — The HPC Advisory Council, a leading organization for high-performance computing research, outreach and education, today announced that the HPC Advisory Council, in conjunction with the University of São Paulo, will host the 1st Annual HPC Advisory Council Brazil Conference 2014 at the University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil on May 26-27, 2014. The conference will focus on HPC productivity, and advanced HPC topics and futures, and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates to discuss recent developments and future advancements in High-Performance Computing and the cloud. The preliminary agenda can now be viewed onlineSpeaker and sponsorship opportunities are available.

“The HPC Advisory Council has become a cornerstone for HPC outreach and education worldwide,” said Alexandre Ramos, Assistant Professor, at the University of São Paulo. “We look forward to work together to bring world-class speakers and attendees to the conference, and offer workshops and tutorials delivered by industry leaders.”
