BARCELONA, Spain, Jan. 18, 2023 — HPCNow! has obtained the Innovative SME certification, granted by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation for a period of 3 renewable years to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises that stand out for their innovation work. In the case of HPCNow! the certification will be valid until November 22nd, 2025.

“This is excellent news,” stated CEO David Tur. “This recognition acknowledges our great commitment to innovation. In this regard, we recently created a specific R&D Department led by Elisabeth Ortega, focused on upscaling the work we have been doing for 10 years.”

The company HPCNow! specializes in advanced supercomputing services for science and engineering. HPCNow! provides its customers with solutions and technologies for dealing with the most complex problems in High Performance Computing (HPC). The company has experts in several fields who are capable of providing services and solutions that cover multiple areas such as cluster design, supercomputer administration, and user support.

About HPCNow!

The use of supercomputing as a tool for solving problems in a wide variety of fields has grown exponentially in recent years. From its beginnings in the 80’s and 90’s, when the owners of the first supercomputers were mainly public entities such as universities, research centers, or the military, their use in the private sector has grown significantly. Thus, HPC has become a highly valuable, even indispensable tool in many important companies in industries such as defense, pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, and/or aerospace.

This is the context in which HPCNow! was founded by three partners with wide experience in the management of high-performance computers and a thorough background in the use of scientific HPC codes. The company offers its expertise and knowledge with the aim of helping its customers to get the most out of HPC technologies by providing simple and efficient supercomputer usage. Providing careful and detailed solutions and the successful customer response to our services has allowed HPCNow! to grow without external funding and to have the means to tackle any new challenge.
