OnScale Appoints Two Vice Presidents, Adds New Board Member

CUPERTINO, Calif., June 5, 2018 — OnScale, a global leader in CAE and Cloud HPC, today announced the appointment of Ryan Diestelhorst, Vice President of Strategy and Joe Yeager, Vice President of Marketing and of Sales. The company also welcomes successful cloud entrepreneur, Gaurav Manglik, to its Board of Directors. The expansion of the leadership team follows the company’s exit from stealth and $3M seed raise announced in March and the general availability of its flagship Cloud CAE Platform, OnScale Cloud in April, signaling significant growth and momentum.

An accomplished entrepreneur, technologist and experienced semiconductor and hardware engineer, Ryan Diestelhorst, Vice President of Strategy, brings deep semiconductor domain knowledge and R&D management skills to his role at OnScale.  In his newly appointed position, Diestelhorst will advance OnScale’s strategy and guide product development in the mobile, IoT and automotive markets. Diestelhorst is also committed to converting OnScale’s significant internal IP assets into a patent portfolio that will contribute to the company’s long-term enterprise value. Previously, Diestelhorst co-founded NextInput and served as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure, Diestelhorst was instrumental in securing $30M in funding, developed a broad IP portfolio and brought multiple high-volume design wins to mass production. Prior to co-founding NextInput, Diestelhorst designed specialized, integrated circuits with NASA, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory while completing his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Georgia Tech.

Joe Yeager joins OnScale as Vice President of Marketing and of Sales to scale the company’s revenue. Yeager is an enterprise software sales and marketing expert who brings over 25 years of experience growing various startups to their target revenue goals. Yeager is passionate about teaching engineers and executives to achieve their technical and business objectives through new ideas and the deployment of new technologies. Yeager has been instrumental in the acquisition of five companies, the latest being CliQr Technologies which was acquired by Cisco.

Gaurav Manglik, OnScale’s newest Board Member, is a Silicon Valley executive, Cloud entrepreneur and investor. Most recently, Manglik founded and served as CEO of CliQr, a Cloud infrastructure platform that was acquired by Cisco in 2016 for $260M. Manglik currently leads Cisco’s engineering for cloud management and orchestration products.
