Nov. 16, 2022 — OpenHPC is pleased to announce the release of OpenHPC, v2.6.
This is an update release for the OHPC 2.x branch targeting support for RHEL8 variants and OpenSUSE Leap 15. This update release provides a number of component updates along with builds against a new gcc compiler variant (gnu12).
Note that users who previously enabled the OHPC 2.x repository via the ohpc-release package will have access to the updates available in 2.6 and no additional repository enablement should be necessary. Please see the Release Notes and documentation for more detailed information.

For those participating in SC’22 activities this week, note that OpenHPC has a Birds of a Feather (BoF) session scheduled for tomorrow Thursday, November 17 (https://sc22.supercomputing.org/presentation/?id=bof160&sess=sess372).
