Registration Opens for Intel at ISC 2022

May 25, 2022

May 25, 2022 — Intel is inviting ISC 22 attendees to register now to participate in its sponsored programs and to see what Innovation Accelerated will mean for HPC users around the world.

HPC is entering the Exascale era. Innovations in science and technology are enabling new discoveries and insight through the most powerful computing ever seen. Next-generation HPC innovations will help researchers continue to answer the most complex questions and solve the most difficult challenges.

Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll see from Intel—on-site and online—so register now.

Starting May 26 at 8:00 a.m. CEST, you’ll hear from Intel and its customers and partners in tech talks and fireside chats, demos, and customer stories on topics including HW and SW programming tools optimized for HPC AI workloads, next-gen Xe architecture, High Bandwidth Memory, and high performance storage with DAOS.

Jeff McVeigh

Jeff McVeigh Keynote: Accelerated Innovation for a More Sustainable and Open HPC-AI

Solving the world’s greatest challenges with technology has been at the center of high-performance computing for decades. As we enter the exascale era, we cannot solve one set of challenges and simultaneously create another set. Namely, we must dramatically curtail the energy consumption and resulting climate impact driven by today’s insatiable demand for computing capacity. There is also an increasing need for democratizing compute through open standards and a reliable software stack.

Hear from Jeff McVeigh, VP of Super Compute Group at Intel, as he details process, chip, and system-level innovations all designed to minimize “energy-to-solution” for the most demanding workloads. Special guests will join to discuss how Intel and its partners are accelerating deployment of these innovations through an open ecosystem and advanced software stack to achieve a future of sustainable and open HPC-AI.

Join Intel Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30pm CEST – on demand in the Intel Digital Lounge and live in-person at ISC 2022 Hall H.

Tech Talks and Fireside Chats

You won’t want to miss these programs. Tech Talks will include presentations on:

  • Upcoming platforms
  • Getting the most out of 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors
  • Porting and tuning software
  • The latest HPC-AI benchmarks
  • High bandwidth memory (HBM)
  • Processing genomics data, and more

Informal Fireside Chats will include industry experts and researchers discussing Exascale, heterogeneous computing, DAOS storage, and insights into key projects and collaborations.

Intel Exhibits, Demos, Workshops, and More

For the latest information on what Intel will be showing and highlighting, visit our Intel at ISC 2022web page. Join the many tutorials, Birds of a Feather (BoFs), and workshops on the ISC 2022 conference program presented by Intel engineers, developers, and ecosystem partners. Stop by Intel Booth B201 or the Intel Digital Lounge to learn the latest on:

  • Intel Xeon Processors
  • Intel’s data center GPU, codenamed Ponte Vecchio
  • High bandwidth memory (HBM)
  • Intel AI technologies, oneAPI, oneAPI Centers of Excellence, and more

Register now to see how HPC is evolving for advanced research and discovery tomorrow.
