LONDON, March 25, 2020 — SoftIron Ltd., developer of purpose-built and performance-optimized data center appliances, announced today that it has secured $34 million in Series B equity funding from a group of its existing investors led by co-founder Norman Fraser. Fraser is a serial IT entrepreneur whose previous successes include two IPO tech stars that achieved unicorn valuations: Vocalis and Endava. SoftIron will use the funding to expand its presence across North America, Europe, and the APAC region with planned growth in sales, product marketing, and support. In addition, the funding will strengthen engineering initiatives to build its portfolio of data center appliances based on leading open source software solutions.
