TMGcore Names Facility Solutions Group as a Certified OTTO Ready Electrical Contractor

January 13, 2020

DALLAS, Jan. 13, 2020 — TMGcore, a provider of data center solutions and manufacturer of data center hardware, announced today Facility Solutions Group (FSG), a premier commercial electrical contractor, has been named as the first OTTO Ready Electrical Contractor. Ranked the No. 15 top electrical contractor in the U.S. in 2019, FSG will be the recommended contractor for companies seeking to install OTTO data center platforms within their facilities, whether new builds or existing operations.

“We first worked with FSG in 2018 when we were building our own headquarters and data center in Plano, Texas,” said John-David Enright, CEO of TMGcore. “We trust them to handle our electrical needs daily and, therefore, we trust they can do the same for our customers now, helping them decide upon the best electrical solutions for the installation and creation of ideal environments for their OTTO platforms.”

OTTO’s modularity and self-contained nodes allows the platform to be installed anywhere, including densely populated urban areas, and provides scalability to fit any hypercomputing business needs, creating more flexible opportunities for infrastructure design. One-tenth the size of traditional data centers, the platform reduces construction time by 50 percent, making the process of electrical installation easier and quicker for companies.

For companies seeking to deploy OTTO-ready facilities to house the platforms, FSG will provide design/build engineering services that will collaborate with the customer’s staff and perform a specific analysis of their electrical distribution system to design the most cost effective, highest quality and NEC-compliant design for the installation. FSG will also provide project management along with journeyman electricians that have years of mission critical experience for a safe and seamless installation.

“TMGcore is creating the next step for the data center industry and we are excited to provide electrical contracting work for them and their customers,” said Kevin Altimier, Business Development/Special Projects Director at FSG. “Because OTTO can adapt to fit any environment, the platform’s electrical needs are highly specialized to each individual customer. Our partnership will leverage our decades of experience to help TMGcore’s customers create the best environments for their platforms and provide electrical solutions that fit their business needs.”
