Turk Nippon Insurance was established in 1991 under the partnership of the Development Bank of Turkey and Nippon Fire & Marine Insurance and in 2008, it merged with the Harel Group, the largest insurance group in Israel. It became increasingly clear to the company that maintaining their aging legacy system was taking up a significant proportion of their IT budget.
