Leostream Announces Integration with NICE DCV High Performance Remote Display Protocol on AWS

Leostream, a leading provider of secure high performance remote access, today announced its integration with NICE DCV, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) high-performance remote display protocol that provides customers with a secure way to deliver remote desktops from any cloud or data center to any device. With the power of NICE DCV, Leostream customers can run remote visualization in high performance computing (HPC) workloads.

Leostream provides the critical connection-broker technology required for enterprises to achieve successful large-scale VDI, hosted desktop, or hosted application environments in both private and public clouds. The Leostream Connection Broker is vendor-independent, enabling enterprises to integrate the complex array of clients, back-end systems and protocols required for successful hosted desktop and application.

With NICE DCV and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), customers using Leostream can run graphics-intensive applications remotely on Amazon EC2 instances, and stream the user interface to client machines, eliminating the need for expensive dedicated workstations. Customers across a broad range of HPC workloads can use NICE DCV for their remote visualization requirements. There is no additional charge to use NICE DCV on Amazon EC2.
