Indiana University and the National Science Foundation (NSF) have announced that Jetstream, the first-ever NSF-supported cloud resource for science and engineering research, will go into full operations as of September 1. Data centers are experiencing increasing power consumption, space constraints and cooling demands due to the unprecedented computing power required by today’s chips and servers.
