Siebel Chair in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. His research interests are in parallel computing, software for scientific computing, and numerical methods for partial differential equations.

Anders Dam Jensen has been the Executive Director for the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking since September 2020. The appointment is the continuation of a lifelong interest in supercomputers, starting from his time at the Technical University of Denmark, from which he holds a Master of Science Degree and a Master of Business Administration.
