IBM has been pushing forward its cloud strategy with what appears to be significant emphasis on the mainstream commercial, although some recent acquisitions and releases have shown that it is entering some industry-specific spaces. It is now tackling product development in its attempt to use the cloud to streamline projects and extract some of the overhead involved. Building products in general takes extraordinary cooperation and exhaustive testing, which is the problem IBM wanted to tackle for its end users as announced at the Innovate 2010 Conference held today.
