Dr. Happy Sitole, director for the Center for High Performance Computing in South Africa, talks about HPC development in the Middle East, China and Russia. Next, Heike Jagode visits the booth of Russian HPC system vendor T-Platforms, and speaks with Alexey Nechuyatov, who describes the 350 teraflop Lomonosov  supercomputer at Moscow State University. Then Don Kennedy  introduces Elliptical Mobile Solutions’ Micro-Modular Data Centers, which is being demonstrated here for the first time in Europe. Finally Heike talks with John Shalf about the future Blue Waters supercomputer and SGI’s mobile datacenter, which the company is exhibiting on the show floor.
