Mellanox Appoints Alinka Flaminia as Senior Vice President and General Counsel

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and YOKNEAM, Israel, Sept. 19 — Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems, today announced the appointment of Alinka Flaminia as its Senior Vice President and General Counsel assuming responsibility for the Company’s global legal affairs, public policy interests and compliance operations. She will report directly to Eyal Waldman, President and CEO of Mellanox Technologies, as a member of the Company’s executive staff. It is also anticipated that Ms. Flaminia will serve as the Company’s Corporate Secretary. In addition, Gideon Rosenberg, Vice President of Legal Affairs, has been promoted to Deputy General Counsel and VP of Legal Affairs.

Alinka Flaminia, Mellanox Technologies, Senior Vice President and General Counsel (Photo: Business W ...  Ms. Flaminia brings to Mellanox more than 25 years of diverse legal experience with technology companies, most recently serving as vice president, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of PMC-Sierra, Inc., from 2007 to 2016. Ms. Flaminia held corporate and other in-house legal roles as Senior Counsel at Xilinx, Inc., and prior to this, was Manager of Legal Affairs at Network Associates, Inc. (McAfee). In her decade of private practice, Ms. Flaminia represented technology companies on corporate and litigation matters. Ms. Flaminia received her Doctorate of Law (J.D.) from the University of Colorado and her Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.

Gideon Rosenberg joined Mellanox in 2010 and was appointed Vice President, Legal Affairs, in 2013. Mr. Rosenberg has been responsible for overseeing all of Mellanox’s legal matters since December 2013, including managing the acquisition of EZchip Semiconductors and the associated loan. Prior to that, Mr. Rosenberg was Sr. Counsel and Director of Israeli Compliance responsible for Mellanox’s Israeli, EMEA, and Asia legal affairs and corporate governance. Prior to joining Mellanox, Mr. Rosenberg was general counsel and company secretary of McKesson Israel Ltd. (formerly Medcon Ltd.). He has also served as the President of the Israeli Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Mr. Rosenberg graduated with an LL.B, with honors, from the University College London.
